Historical Significance: This is a basic but popular manual of the early 20th C for ophthalmological practice that ran to 8 ediitons. Dr Harman (1869-1945) MC BCh Cantab FRCS 1898 was a well known ophthalmologist who was active in professional affairs, a well regarded anatomy teacher and the inventor of the diaphram test for binocular vision in 1909.
