Historical Significance: Claud Worth (1869-1936) was a noted Bristish ophthalmologist especially well known for his writings on amblyopia and strabismus. He started the first orthoptic clinic at Moorfields and wrote a classic book on squint in 1903. He supervised this British edition of Charles May's hugely popular book Manual of Eye Diseases first published in the USA in 1900.
