Description Of Item: 151 pages, 10 photographic illustrations. On the paste-down is the signature of Roy Holdsworth, optometrist, who practised in Windsor, Melbourne, through the early to mid 20th C. Also pasted-in is a news cutting dated 1944 on Aldous Huxley's 'Art of Seeing'
Historical Significance: This is the 18th impression of the book first published in 1929. The author bases his theory on Bates' 'Perfect sight without glasses'. See Catalogue items 98 and 250. He states that glasses are detrimental and that poor vision can be cured by diet and muscle relaxation.
