Binocular balance

Historical Significance: This seems to be a manuscript for a proposed text book. It may be the precursor to the book 'Binocular balance' by this author self published in 1926 See Cat No 596 . See Cat No 306 for another book by the author. He also published books on home study of optometry (1926, 1932). Peckham was an optometrist in Connecticut, USA. Peckham seems to have been one of those enthusiastic thinkers and teachers in optometry with a gift for writing. He published a number of books including 'Binocular balance and the Genothalmic Kratometer' a lecture delivered at the office of General Optical Company, Inc., Boston, Mass. ca. 1925; 'Binocular balance' 1926; 'The modern treatment of ocular imbalances with the genothalmic kratometer'1926; 'The non-operative correction of squint' :'Manual of instruction for the Squint-Korector' 1930; 'The study of eye-movements during alternation in binocular vision' 1933 and 'The principles of binocular fusion and stereoscopic vision'. 1940.
