Description Of Item: Gold oval-shaped pince-nez, rims covered with dark brown shell material, finger grip nose piece with spring loaded small plastic pads, glazed with very low power flat lenses. Right lens has a drilled hole near outer margin to hold (a later) elastic cord. Contained in a small metal snap case covered in worn blue cloth. Label inside lid reading ' W.J. AIRD (PERCY BINGEMAN / Optician / London House / 97 Elizabeth Street Melb.'
