David Wells MD was Associate Professor of Ophthamology at the Boston University Medical School and Ophthalmic Surgeon Massachusetts Homeopathic hospital, Boston. The book is designed to accompany the pharo-optometer stereoscope and the Wells selection of stereoscopic cards. The author advocates orthoptics rather than surgery for binocular disorders.
