Enclosed are two 1912 Victorian Optical class examination papers Historical Significance: Claud Worth (1869-1936) was a noted British ophthalmologist especially well known for his writings on amblyopia and strabismus. He started the first orthoptic clinic at Moorfields. This book was first published 1905 and ran to 6 editions. He was also author with F Bernard Chavasse of 'Squint, the binocular relexes and the treatment of squint' 1939 which became 'Worth and Chavasse's Squnit' in 1950 and 1959. He also published a 'Manual of diseases of the Eye' with Charles May in 1906 which also went to many editions until 1944. He was a keen yachtsman and published two books on Yacht cruising.
