Historical Significance: The College engaged architects Reid Partnership to prepare a master plan for the development of the College buildings in 1985. Graham Reid was the responsible architect. The Master plan adopted was reported the 1985 Annual report of the College. Bruce Besley was President of the College (1978-1990) during the time of acquisition of land, the planning for a new building and its construction. See Catalogue item No 389 for more details of the development of the College buildings from the 1950s to the 1990s. John Pettit was a councillor of the College from 1970 to 2007 during which time he was Treasurer for two terms and a long serving Chairman of the College's Clinic Board of Management.
