Historical Significance: This is a series of lectures on aniseikonia with a good description of the eikonometer that was manufactured by the American Optical Company Bannon did teaching and research in space perception and in his specialty of aniseikonia and eikonometry. Bannon was optometrist researcher at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire USA where he worked with KN Ogle. Later he worked for the American Optical Company in Buffalo, New York.
