Description Of Item: Manila folder inscribed 'Army and optom' in red ink and 'HOC Army Corres and interviews' and ' Corres leading up to Opt Units' in pencil with papers filed by means of two brass straps. The papers relate to the role and standing of optometrists in the Army during World War 2 with correspondence from the Ministry of Munitions and a report compiled by optometrist R G M Hogan of the National Optical Council.
