The clipping is glued to a slip identifying the clipping as being supplied by Australian Press Cuttings and with the date stamp of 14 Nov 1934 Historical Significance: Cyril Henry Woodford Kett FBOA Higher Diploma FSMC (1890 - 1971) was a foundation councillor of the Australian College of Optometry in 1940. Spencer was a sometime Honorary Secretary of the VOA. The Centenary referred to is not the centenary of the VOA but of first white settlement of Victoria.
