Description Of Item: 10 foolscap pages of carbon copy typescript being an agreement between the State optometry associations (except Western Australia) to form a national association, with a quarto size sheet clipped to the second page, being a copy of amendments carried at the AOA Conference in Hobart in 1922.
Historical Significance: Agreement was reached at the 1st Conference of the State optometry associations in 1918 to form a national optometric association. This document is the formal agreement but this copy is not signed and sealed. See Wright S History of Australian Optometry. Chapter 11.
