Those pictured are from left: John Barrett, Peter Dwyer, Emeritus Professor Barry Collin, Graham Hill, Dawn Odgers, Clifton Egar, John Pettit, Bruce Besley, Margaret Banks, William Cooper (kneeling), Emeritus Professor Leon Garner, Dr Alan Issacs, Dr John Nathan, Emeritus Professor Barry Cole, John Strachan
Historical Significance: This group of retired optometrists all played active roles in the OAA, the VCO or in academic optometry in the period 1950 to 2000. They met for lunch once a year from 2005. This was taken after their lunch in 2008.The group has become known as the gerioptics.
