The booklet describes his treatment by way of ophthalmic powders of vegetable extracts, said to have been first formulated in 1865, which could cure cataract and many other eye conditions without the need for surgery. The booklet appears to have been first published soon after he established his Institution (see Preface). This edition is said to 'leave the writing in its original form'. Chapter III reproduces testimonials, the last dated 1936, so this version of the booklet can dated to 1936 or shortly afterwards.
