Victorian College of Optometry staff 2007

Historical Significance: A photograph of the VCO staff was taken before the annual end of year Christmas party on a number of occasions. See also Cat No 543 for the year 2000 and also the VCO annual report for 1997 for another staff photograph. This is a photograph of the staff of the Victorian College of Optometry taken in December 2007. This was the year Professor McBrien stood down as Director of the College in February. He continued as Head of the Department of Optometry and Vsion Sciences of the Univertsity of Melbourne but this broke the arrangment in place since 1973 under which the Head of the Department was also the Director of the College. Mitchell Anjou was appointed acting Director of the College for 2007 and he is pictured in the front row on the right.
