Folio size photocopy of the Minutes of the first General meeting of the Opticians Registration Board held in the Board's room at 422 Collins St Melbourne on 25 January 1937, 2 pages with page numbers 64 and 65. Signed by the Chairman of the Board, Bertram Nathan Historical Significance: This records the proceedings of the first ordinary and first general meeting of the Opticians Registration Board in Victoria. The Opticians Registration Act had been passed in late 1935 giving Victorian optometrists the privledges and protections of registration for the first time.
