Historical Significance: This slide depicts a teaching biomicroscopy in the Amies Theatre in the 1960 Cardigan Street building as a part of the continuing education program of the Victorian College of Optometry in 1976. At that time biomicroscopy was taught in the undergraduate course but many optometrists who had qualified before 1960 had not been taught biomicropscopy and did not use it in practice
