Final (4th Year) Victorian Students 1970 (Robert Jacobs, Helen Robbins, Trevor Sandy, Jenny Miles)

Historical Significance: Robert Jacobs was a lecturer in optometry at the University of Melbourne and later Associate Professor in optometry at the University of Auckland. Helen Robbins was national President of Optometrists Association Australia 2000-2003 and was elected an honorary life member of the OAA in 2005. Jenny Maddocks (nee Miles) was research assistant for Professor Barry Cole from c1990 to 1999 and published 11 papers as joint author as well as serving as secretary of CIE Committees TC4-14 and 4-31 that produced two technical reports and an international standard to which she was a major contributor. There were 8 students in final year in 1970 so there is most likely a missing page depicting the other four students.
