(2) Carbon copy of a letter on quarto-sized green paper from the Victorian Opticians Registration Board dated Dec 3 1937 advising that the use of the words 'Dispensing Optician' in OPSM advertising is a breach of the Opticians Act. (3) Letter on quarto-sized paper bearing the letterhead of Optical Prescriptions Spectacle Makers Pty Ltd at 123 Collins St Melbourne dated December 4 1937 signed by LD Bakewell Manager agreeing to delete the word optician from its brochure Historical Significance: The Opticians Registration Act was enacted for the first time in Dec 1935 and it provided that the term 'Optician' could only be used by registered optometrists.
