Historical Significance: Cyril Woodforde-Kett was prominent in professional affairs, especially in education in the first half of the 20thC. He was one of the signatories of the foundation Memorandum of Assocation of the Australian College of Optometry in December 1939. He served on the College Council from its foundation until 1970. He was first Vice President 1944 to 1947. He was made a life member of the College in 1954. he was a lecturer and examiner in the Fellowship course of the Victorian Optical Association. This record probably dates from 1938 as Candidate examination number 405 is listed on page 38 of Cat. No. 1642. as Geo D Humphrey and a Supplementary Examination result is recorded.
