Historical Significance: Gibson also published 'Clinical orthoptics' in 1955. (see cat No 606). Gibson FBOA FSMC DOrth was an English optometrist who was senior staff orthoptist and lecturer in orthoptics at the London Refraction Hospital. George Giles published an earlier (1938, 1943) text book on orthoptics for British optometry students (see Cat # 195, 196)
