Historical Significance: At the time Darryl Carter OD (1951) PhD (1957) was Clinical Professor of Optometry at the University of California, Berkeley. This book is of interest because of the long term debate of the role of optometry in contributing to the managament of learning disorders. Seven of the 13 contributors to this book are optometrists including Meron Flom and Munroe Hirsch,
