Description Of Item: Ophthalmic instrument table, stained timber top 640 mm x 375 mm, cast metal stand with screw height adjustment operated by a hand wheel with lock, three splayed legs with castors
Historical Significance: This is typical of the instruments tables used by some optometrists and ophthalmologists in the first half of the 20th C. This one was probably for a keratometer.
How Acquired: Donated by Tony Simon, NSW optometrist, son of Victor Simon, a prominent optometrist in NSW mid 20thC
